Desktop Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues, install and configure software, and ensure seamless IT operations across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity problems, ensuring efficient resolution.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and software upgrades.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access control.
- Assist in setting up new workstations and onboarding new employees.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement improvements and solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows/Mac OS environments and related troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
